Description:
Acid-A-ProTM is a concentrated form of our original fermentation product. It is produced through the fermentation of a whey substrate with lactobacillus bacteria. The fermentate is then condensed and blended with a carrier prior to drying. Three different bacteria, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus lactis and Lactobacillus casei, are in Acid-A-Pro. Additional organic and inorganic acids are added to further acidify the product.
Purpose:
Acid-A-Pro contains three different acids, which supply energy and help to lower stomach pH. It is generally accepted that acidification of feed helps to establish a more favorable microflora resulting in improved performance and feed conversion.
